Terms and conditions

• Contractor: JL Enterprise Limited, trading as LAURA LISA, a company incorporated under Hong Kong law, registration number 77108176, with its registered address at 87-105 Chatham Rd South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
• Client: the business or professional commissioning the delivery of services. We only supply to business clients and not to consumers.
• Services: all work the contractor carries out for the client.

Quotes are valid for thirty days, unless stated otherwise. An assignment starts the moment the client approves the quote in writing (by email) or explicitly commissions the work through another written channel.

LAURA LISA carries out the assignment to the best of its knowledge and ability. To do so, LAURA LISA depends on the client supplying information, content and access on time and in full. Delays caused by incomplete delivery fall outside the responsibility of LAURA LISA.

All prices and rates are in euros. Hong Kong has no VAT or GST, so we do not charge VAT. Hourly work is invoiced based on the hours actually spent. Fixed-price assignments are invoiced according to the instalments agreed in the quote. The payment term is fourteen days after the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise.

An order in the shop is concluded as soon as we have confirmed the order by email. We then send an invoice.

Payment is made within fourteen days of the invoice date by bank transfer. Paying online with iDEAL, credit card and Belgian and German payment methods will follow as soon as it becomes available.

Our services are delivered digitally, in the client's own account or by email. The expected delivery time is stated per product on the product page and starts once we have confirmed the order and received all required information and access. Delivery times are an indication and not a fixed deadline.

Changes to the assignment that lead to additional work are discussed and recorded in advance. Additional work is in principle invoiced at a fixed amount agreed in advance. Only for ongoing work or a prepaid card is the applicable hourly rate used.

After full payment of the assignment, the rights to the delivered work transfer to the client, with the exception of the generic components, libraries and working methods used by LAURA LISA, which LAURA LISA may reuse in other assignments.

The liability of LAURA LISA for direct damages is limited to the invoice amount of the assignment concerned (for ongoing services: the invoice amount of the last three months). Indirect damages, including lost profit and missed savings, are excluded.

Ongoing services (such as hosting & maintenance or SEO monitoring) can be cancelled monthly, effective at the end of the current month, unless agreed otherwise.

An order can be cancelled free of charge as long as we have not started the work. After the start we charge the work already carried out. Because we only supply to businesses, the statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply.

If the delivered work is not as agreed, we will fix it at no extra cost. If that is not possible within a reasonable time, we refund the amount paid for the part that was not delivered as agreed.

Anyone who sends a message to the LAURA LISA WhatsApp bot agrees to these terms. The bot is meant for asking questions about our services and for creating requests with us.

The bot generates its answers automatically with AI. We do our best to keep those answers correct and up to date, but we give no guarantee and no rights can be derived from them. Binding arrangements always require written confirmation from LAURA LISA.

In case of misuse of the bot, including spam, automated or excessive use, abusive or unlawful messages and attempts to manipulate the bot, we may limit access or block the number involved.

The law of Hong Kong applies to all agreements. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Hong Kong.
