One platform instead of ten tools

What is a CRM?

A CRM keeps customer data, contact moments and sales opportunities in one central place.

Definition

A CRM (customer relationship management) is a system in which a business keeps all its customer data, contact moments and sales opportunities in one place.

Context

Standalone CRM tools are abundant, but usually sit apart from the rest of the operation — a separate login, a separate subscription, and manual hand-off to invoicing or the website.

When CRM functionality is part of the same platform as the website or webshop, that hand-off disappears: a new customer, order or enquiry lands automatically alongside the rest of the business data. That removes double entry, double mistakes and double subscription costs.
